Chocolate Chip Sea Salt Yogurt Bagels

Mia Swinehart has created a new family favorite recipe, Chocolate Chip Sea Salt Yogurt Bagels! Made with our creamy, protein-packed Organic Whole Milk Greek Yogurt these bagels are a nutritious twist on a breakfast staple.

Ingredients

  •  all-purpose flour
  •  coconut sugar
  •  baking powder
  •  salt
  •  Organic Whole Plain Greek Yogurt
  •  
  •  for egg wash

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • In a large bowl, mix your dry ingredients together. Fold in Straus Organic Whole Plain Greek Yogurt until just combined.

  • Dump dough onto a floured surface. Add chocolate chips (as much as you like!) and use your hands to knead the dough while folding in the chocolate chips. If sticky, add more flour as needed until dough forms a smooth ball.

  • Divide into 4 equal portions. Roll each portion into a rope and then shape into a round bagel with a small hole in the center (they will spread more in the oven).

  • Brush each bagel with egg wash and top with sea salt and more chocolate chips (optional). Bake for 25 minutes, then allow to cool before slicing and toasting.
