Organic dairy products


We collaborate with small-scale certified organic family farms to source the highest quality organic dairy products. Premium organic milk is the primary ingredient in all of our products. The farmers who supply milk to our Creamery are committed to sustainable organic farming and carbon neutrality. They nourish their families and yours without harming the environment.

There’s no overstating the importance of organic dairy products in a healthy lifestyle. Studies have found that organic milk has a higher nutritional content, and even more healthy omega-3 fatty acids, and more disease-fighting antioxidants than non-organic milk. Choosing organic dairy products from Straus also means supporting ethical farming practices that prohibit the use of pesticides, herbicides, chemical fertilizers, and GMOs.

Never ultra-pasteurized. Crafted with pure simple ingredients and minimally processed, all of our dairy products start with Straus Organic Milk. With the increase in milk alternatives, it’s important to note that plant-based (non-dairy) beverages often rely on gums, thickeners, stabilizers and added sugars to create the desired texture and enhance taste. Straus certified organic dairy products have no preservatives, fillers, thickeners, stabilizers, artificial ingredients, or coloring agents. You can see and taste the difference.

Milk & Cream

The premium quality of our organic dairy products begins with Straus Organic Milk. Organically, sustainably and humanely farmed, our premium milk is gently pasteurized to preserve its taste and nutritional integrity. Our milk is not homogenized, so the cream floats to the top.


Tart and tangy, Straus Organic Kefir is a cultured lowfat milk with 11 different beneficial live and active cultures. Made with quality protein and high in calcium, this nutritious drink is available in two tasty flavors: plain and blueberry.

European Style Yogurt

Packed with live, active cultures and brimming with a smooth and creamy taste, Straus Organic European Style Yogurt has a distinctive tart flavor. Cooled and set in stainless-steel vats, our organic yogurt is never compromised with gums, thickeners, stabilizers or artificial flavors.

Greek Yogurt

Made with only two ingredients —premium organic milk and live, active cultures, Straus Organic Greek Yogurt is just as smooth and tasty as our European version, with a thicker, creamier texture.

Super Premium Ice Cream

No matter which of the 12 flavors you crave, our organic, gluten-free ice cream is crafted with our premium organic milk and organic cream. All flavors are free of preservatives, fillers, artificial ingredients, or coloring agents. Super premium means less air and higher butterfat with a creamier taste in each bite.

European Style Butter

Salted or unsalted, our organic European style butter boasts more than 8% butterfat than your average American butter. Its low moisture brings out the flakiest best in any crust.

Sour Cream

For dips, dressing, or dinners, our naturally smooth, rich and tangy organic sour cream delights your taste buds no matter how you dollop it.


Our certified organic dairy products are Non-GMO Project Verified, certified kosher, and gluten free. The cows are never treated with hormones or antibiotics. They graze on pesticide-free organic pastures during good weather and are given 100% organically grown supplemented feeds.

The cows graze on sweet grasses in the unique, coastal climate of Western Marin and Sonoma Counties in Northern California. This grazing environment is reflected in the rich and unique flavor of Straus’ organic milk, organic cream, and all of our organic dairy products.
