Serving Size: 4-6, 1 pizza (12-14 inch round)

Ingredients

Dough

Toppings

  • 1/2 cup organic pizza sauce
  • 1 cup freshly shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup button mushrooms, thinly sliced
  • 1/3 cup sliced black olives
  • Optional: 2 teaspoons extra virgin olive oil, dried chili flakes, fresh basil

Instructions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 425°F. Line a round pizza pan or a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

Place the flour in a mixing bowl and mix with the baking powder and salt.

Step 3

Make a hole in the middle. Add in the Greek yogurt and start to mix with a rubber spatula. When the mixture starts to look wet-crumbled, start using your hands and bring it together into a dough ball.

Step 4

Work until the dough is combined and mostly smooth on the surface.

Step 5

Sprinkle a clean surface with a bit of flour, and knead the dough for about 2 minutes.

Step 6

Lightly sprinkle the kneaded dough ball with flour and, using a rolling pin, spread it into a 12 to 14-inch round. Transfer to a sheet pan, and you can still spread it with your fingers until the base is thin and round. Bake for 8-10 minutes.

Step 7

Remove from the oven, and spread over the pizza sauce. Top with mozzarella, mushrooms, and olives.

Step 8

Bake for 12-14 minutes, until the mozzarella is melted and starts to brown.

Step 9

Remove from the oven and drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle dried chili flakes, if desired. Just before serving, top with a few fresh basil leaves.

Step 10

Serve warm and enjoy!
