Our Organic Lowfat Plain Greek Yogurt is made with premium organic lowfat milk and active, live cultures. Like our European Style Yogurts, it is slowly cultured and vat-set. Then, it’s carefully strained to create the thick and creamy texture of traditional Greek yogurt with delicious, authentic Straus Family Creamery taste.
Unlike other yogurts, which are heated inside their plastic cups, Straus Family Creamery yogurt is slowly cultured and vat-set for up to 9 hours in stainless-steel vats. It is cooled and then poured into our recyclable cups and tubs, preserving its authentic dairy flavor.

Our certified organic dairy products are Non-GMO Project Verified, certified kosher, and gluten free. The cows are never treated with hormones or antibiotics. They graze on pesticide-free organic pastures during good weather and are given 100% organically grown supplemented feeds.
The cows graze on sweet grasses in the unique, coastal climate of Western Marin and Sonoma Counties in Northern California. This grazing environment is reflected in the rich and unique flavor of Straus’ organic milk, organic cream, and all of our organic dairy products.
