Everyone has been deeply affected by this crisis. My thoughts are with you and the people closest to you. Our local communities, the family farmers who supply organic milk to us, our hard-working employees, and our customers are on my mind.
As this situation evolves, Straus Family Creamery continues to fulfill the food needs of local communities in California and other western states while working diligently to keep our staff healthy and safe. As always, food safety and quality are our top priorities. Our milk is certified organic, non-GMO verified and sourced locally from the Straus Dairy Farm and 11 family farms in Marin and Sonoma Counties in Northern California. Our pasteurized organic milk is packaged in reusable glass bottles, which are thoroughly cleaned and sterilized before reuse.
Through this crisis, we will continue to advance our mission to sustain family farms in Marin and Sonoma Counties and revitalize rural communities.
All of you help us do this, and we thank you.
To all of the restaurant, food service and culinary professionals who have been severely impacted by these recent events, please know that we support you. Restaurants, coffee shops, schools, business accounts, and the distributors that serve them have played an essential role in helping us fulfill our mission and supporting our local food system. We wouldn’t be here without you.
